Booking System Terms & Conditions

These terms cover bookings made through this website with Ghost Barber Club in Nottingham. Making a booking means you accept them.

Making a booking

You choose a service, a barber (or "any barber"), and a time. Depending on the service, you'll either pay nothing up front (pay in the shop on the day), pay a deposit, pay in full, or be asked to leave a card on file. What's required is always shown before you confirm.

When a booking is confirmed

If nothing is due up front and no card is required, your booking is confirmed immediately. If payment or a card is needed, your slot is held for a short time (shown on screen) while you complete that step. If it isn't completed in time, the hold is released automatically so the slot is free for someone else — you'll have been emailed a reminder with a direct link back in before that happens.

Cancelling a booking

You can cancel from your account at any time. Cancelling outside the cancellation window shown at the time you booked is free. Cancelling inside that window may carry a fee, as set out for that booking. Where a fee applies and you've already paid, the fee is deducted from what you paid; anything left over — and the full amount, if no fee applies — is added to your account as credit, not refunded to your card. Credit is applied automatically to a future booking.

Missed appointments

If you don't show up and haven't cancelled in advance, a no-show fee may be charged to the card on file, in line with the policy shown when you booked.

Children's bookings

A booking made for a child must be made by a parent or guardian using their own account. The same cancellation and no-show terms apply to the booking as a whole.

Changes on our side

Occasionally we may need to move or cancel a booking — for example if a barber is unexpectedly unavailable. If that happens we'll contact you as soon as possible to rearrange, and no fee is charged.

Arriving for your appointment

Please arrive on time. Arriving significantly late may mean your appointment can't be completed in full, or may be treated as a missed appointment depending on how late.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
